Hammersmith and Fulham Council (H&F) have announced plans to give Eel Brook Common, the park on New King's Road, a revamp.
The council has proposed improvements with new benches, smoother pathways, better fencing and more rubbish bins. Cyclists will also benefit, with new cycle routes and mixed paths to be in placed in the park.
Work is expected to be completed by June 2012 and the council is asking you to suggest ideas by taking part in its online questionnaire here.
Cabinet member for residents’ services for H&F, Councillor Greg Smith, said: “This borough has some beautiful parks and open spaces and maintaining and improving them is one of the council’s main priorities. I look forward to residents informing us about our proposals for Eel Brook Common.”
Eel Brook Common is known for its annual summer circus and recently hosted a charity fair which attracted the likes of Jonathan Ross and Jarvis Cocker.
