There’s something special happening on the Brompton Road. The Collection is set to re-open on 23 September after a lavish re-vamp. Acclaimed industrial designer, Tom Dixon, has taken his inspiration from the achingly cool art, fashion and music world’s to create a beautiful interior of exposed brick, metallic lights and velvet banquet seating. Think of the coolest place you know, add 10 per cent and you’re about there.
The food doesn’t look too bad either with the emphasis on fantastic ingredients like meat from Laverstoke Park and olive oil from the best olive groves in the Med you can tuck into Tartare of Buffalo or Barbeque Grouper with Samphire – Maccy D’s this ain’t. If you’re of the ‘eating is cheating’ school of thought they’ve got you covered too. A beautifully original cocktail list and their very own Pommery Champagne Bar mean you’ll always have the perfect tipple in hand.
To top it all The Collection has its own private retail spaces that it plans to make into one off ‘pop up’ stores to showcase original collections by jewellers, designers and artists.
Frankly, I can’t imagine why you’d ever want to leave.
The Collection will be open daily from 10am until Midnight, serving food all day.
